The hotel is tucked away down a small corridor that smelled of smoke, but the service was extremely friendly and helpful. The location is great out of Manchester in a nice area, and the dining, although could be laid out better, was excellent value for money.

The hotel is a great price and good size for our stay, with a comfy bed, but unfortunately, the rooms are extremely dated, quite grubby, and in desperate need of a revamp. The location is perfect for local attractions but does require transport into the city. The service is really nice and accommodating, although there was an issue with breakfast availability one morning. The dining offers a good selection but has limited breakfast hours.
